Leon Russell, what a shame that his talent has been kept hidden for so many years. I am excited to get whatever recordings of his that I can. Hymns of Christmas is strictly instrumental but the beautiful sounds resonating harmoniously make up for no vocals. Definately a favorite CD to play all year around. Who ever said that Christmas music is just for Christmas. They are songs, enjoy them all the time.
