I have yet to complete construction of this bench because the sides don't align. I also have yet to hear back from the manufacturer regarding this problem. i hesitated buying this due to the bad review that I read. However, I like the design and opted to buy stronger hardware and reinforce to add strength. However, this is all for naught if the pieces don't fit together. The only pre-drilling is on the cleats. I may have to settle for large gaps between the pieces just to get it to fit together. I'll have to dis-assemble then re-assemble to try to get it all the pieces to fit together. Then, the structural integrity in impaired due to extra holes...I would advise against buying this...too bad...
