There are nearly identical benches available that are several inches wider and about 12 lbs heavier. That's because they are a combination of cast iron and aluminum. The cast iron can rust and sometimes the casting is off and the parts don't go together well. So make sure you check when reading the product information that you are getting what you want.Happily, this bench is entirely made of cast aluminum. It weighs about 16 lbs. So it is very easy to assemble and carry to where you ultimately wanted to place it. Goes together easily and is very sturdy, The feet are adjustable. Mine is perfectly level so I haven't needed to adjust the feet. It appears to be powder coated rather than just painted. I could be wrong. At any rate, it has a durable finish.I have a chair and table set of the same material and after two years not a touch of rust, even though they'd been covered in snow. They have required no maintenance whatsoever. I expect the same results with this new bench.It is a beautiful looking ornamental bench. However, it is without a doubt the most uncomfortable thing I've ever sat upon. Even with cushions it's uncomfortable.
