We wanted a very compact leg machine, and the GMWD LE02 Leg Extension and Curl Machine has a small footprint, so after talking to one of their reps, we ordered this one. It's quite inexpensive for a leg extension and curl machine with a footprint of only about 35" x 35", and pics show a model using it for abs, too - I tried that, and it worked.It arrived probably boxed better than any piece of fitness gear we've ever bought. It has no smells, no issues, no rips or tears, and all the parts were in the box. We built it in under an hour. Our floors are hardwood, and the machine doesn't move - just sits flat. The metal tubing is pretty thin - maybe 16 gauge? - which we expected for the price.Btw, for some reason the listing says the max weight capacity for this machine is 95 pounds, but I contacted the manufacturer, and the rep told me that machine's total capacity (including the person sitting on it) is 550 pounds. Since the weight horn is only 9 inches, I don't think we could fit more than 5 45-pound plates or only 3 45-pound bumper plates, so that's fine. I can always work one leg at a time.For the size and price, I don't think there are many options - the other brands close to this price have a larger footprint. We actually tucked this into the corner of our living room, and it fits without getting in the way. We knew its limitations going in, and we're happy to work within them to get this small a leg machine - we already have a cable tower tucked in the dining room and a power cage in the bedroom, 2 weight benches and 5 barbells, so the compact size was important to us. This is our first piece from GMWD, and so far, we're happy with the machine, its size, and the value.
