Got this for my 77yr old moms shower. She had a teak bench in the past but they require upkeep and living in a senior apartment community made it difficult to maintain. Tossed it and got her this one instead. It looked great right out of the box and required about 5 minutes to assemble by myself. Feels sturdy. The metal warms up quickly when the shower runs on it but does not get hot enough to cause discomfort or a burn. The slatted shelf under the seat is perfect for storing shampoo and other shower items that can get wet while allowing drainage for them to dry between showering. The feet are adjustable to balance the bench on a sloped or uneven shower floor. The color is a medium/light gray with darker "wood grain". She has been using it in her shower for about 5 months now and has not noticed any rusting or loosening of the screws and only reports that it is working great and that she loves being able to sit down in the shower or put her foot up on it when she shaves her legs. I would recommend and purchase again.
