A coat of clear lacquer is applied to protect and seal the finish for a lifetime of use. This House of Troy light fixture has a flexible 8-1/2-Inch gooseneck that is easily adjustable allowing for ample illumination while playing your piano. The GP10-61 uses one medium base T10, 60W (maximum) incandescent bulb controlled by a switch on the 10-Inch wide shade. This lamp is CA Title 20 Compliant when used with a compact fluorescent light bulb. The felt-lined clamp base measures 5-1/2-Inch by 2-1/2-Inch and adjusts from 1/2-Inch to 1-Inch, with a factory formed opening for the 9-foot brown cord and polarized plug. The metal components of House of Troy products should be cleaned with warm water and a soft cloth; using soaps or glass cleaners may damage the metal finish.
