Such a shame to discover that the 58" Bench we purchased was damaged. The packaging did not hold up, it was shipped in a flimsy dirty box with very little padding for 62 pounds of wood. The bench is beautifully made of Rubberwood with a walnut finish. Just what we have been looking for to go with our bedroom furniture. As you can see in the attached photo, the box is pretty beat up and there is obviously not enough protection around the wood. We are thinking about reordering especially since the price has dropped; but we don't want the same bench returned to us if that is the reason for the reduced price. If we were skilled in wood repair, we would have kept it, but we are not.
