I'm super happy with this bench. We use it for hallway shoe storage but several times we've used it as a dining table bench when we had extra guests. It looks superb being both!The bench was made to order by the company. The shipping time was longer than most Amazon products and when I emailed the company why it was taking so long, they replied that they were actually MAKING the bench at the moment! Not mass produced pieces from a factory, but actually made by people in the USA to order! They shipped it out a few days later and I was super happy with the bench.The bench is SOLID WOOD! I can't emphasize this enough. This isn't some cheap IKEA particle wood or composite stuff. Everything is solid wood and HEAVY! All the pieces have weight to them. Assembly couldn't be easier as the holes were pre-drilled. They even included a drill bit to help with the assembly. These small details are definitely what set this company apart from mass produced store furniture. I didn't have to fumble with getting the right location for screws and holes, just line them up and screw in.The resulting bench looks beautiful - stained wood top and white legs. I'm super happy with the quality of this bench. If there was anything I didn't like was that the color was not as white as I would have preferred, it had a more yellow/cream tone. Either way I'm not terribly bothered and I can always repaint to a different shade if I liked.But very happy with this bench.
