Nice set of two folding benches! The bench tops are made of a sturdy molded plastic and are supported with a folding bracing system underneath. There is no locking system and I found I had to be careful when opening the table so as not to get my hand or arms near the center which is a pinch point. The center brace needs no adjustment but the end supports utilize a sliding locking ring just like a folding table.The table also includes a carrying handle which is convenient. Each table weighs about 15 pounds and once set up, are large and sturdy enough to support 3-4 adults. They are rated at 700 pounds and when sitting on them, they are secure with no rocking or play in the joints.Bottom Line: Good pair of folding benches, big enough for three to four adults and fit an 8' table perfectly.
