I have a picky wife who rarely likes a mask and continues to use it for some time.She thinks she find the right one, this will be her choose from now on.I am bit of a clay mask addict. Whatever the clay mask you heard about, I probably have it. I wanted to try this one out (I got the pure clay version) because I have combination skin, and the oily parts and enlarged pores get worse during warm seasons. I think this will be my go-to mask for the summer. I can’t wait to try the other varieties too. The price point is also very good. Keep in mind that this mask is softer compared to other clay masks on the market and it goes on the skin relatively thin, almost translucent. So even my 2-3 times a week usage I can already see that this jar will go a long way (perhaps two to three times longer than what you would get out of the other masks in a similar volume jar).As the mask dries, you can clearly see the oil spots appearing on the surface of the clay as the clay sucks the oil out of the pores. I find that very satisfying ?. It washes of easily and leaves the skin refreshed. I usually apply after washing my face and follow with toner and moisturizer. It has a citrusy scent, not overpowering. I have a relatively sensitive skin and I didn’t have any irritations or issues and it didn’t dry out my skin either.Over all, great refreshing clay mask. Pleasantly surprised .These are great for any skin type. I like how smooth and bright my skin was after the mask. I will try the others. It is smoothing.I wasn’t sure about this product before the purchase but the results are really amazing. Highly recommended.It almost looks like foundation while applying. The jar itself is a thick heavy glass, and the screw on lid is plastic. The expiration date on my jar shows August 2023.The consistency does not feel like your typical clay mask, it’s more of a thin cream, mine seemed a tad watered down. It does dry the same as a clay mask though.It feels cool while applying, and very thin, sometimes i wasn’t sure if I applied in an area already because it was thin and was close to my skin tone. It’s starts to dry quickly, especially if applied in a thin layer as suggested. Mine was fully dry in 8 minutes. It turn a lot lighter in color when it’s dry. My face has never felt this tight with a clay mask on and i have tried a lot. If you like the tightening feeling on your face, you will love this one.The scent i was not too sure about, it definitely smells citrusy (from the lemon) but I can also smell maybe the chamomile in it. It’s not my favorite scent, and it is quite strong.After 10 minutes, it was really easy to wash off, and done washing off in seconds. It left my forehead and nose pretty shiny, it also was a little drying on my chin and cheek area, so definitely recommend a moisturizer as it suggests. My face feels clean, fresh and tightened, (a little scent left behind, very subtle though), which seemed to help reduce the overall look of my pores, so i would say, it did what it’s suppose to do, and it worked. And although a bit pricey, it’s 3.4oz, and since you only need to use a thin layer and use 1-3 times a week, this will definitely last you, and i would recommend.
