The split-log design features natural checking that we've accounted for when designing the strength of the product. Actual product color may vary slightly due to monitors displaying colors differently. Wooden planters are a great way to make sure that what you're growing doesn't get contaminated with harmful plastics or other chemicals. Please note: All log-furniture pieces like these planters develop cracks, or splits in the wood while it goes through the natural drying process. This is considered a normal characteristic (it is known as checking) and should be expected when you receive your planter. Hardware Included! Assembly requires installing screws which are included with the kit. Also!!! We've included two pre-cut landscaping fabric liners for the bottom of your planter boxes! Our included liners will help prevent soil from leaking through the drainage holes in the floor of the planter.
