This bag seems very flimsy and the bottom half of the straps is just thin, slick nylon. I wouldn't trust it with the weight of the smaller accordion I bought it for (and it was MUCH to big for a compact model) let alone the weight of a full-size accordion. It smelled funny too. I imagine the smell would have dissipated in a few days, but, seriously, just pony up the money and get a decent, sturdy gig bag from Hohner or Gear4Music or someplace reputable that understands how instruments need to be carried. Given the cost of an accordion, it just isn't worth the risk to try to tote it around in something this lame. Returning it to Amazon and taking my own advice to spend more and get something that will actually protect what's inside.
