I am a definite layperson with little to no knowledge about skin care products other than what the lady behind the counter at Sephora tries to sell me. That said, I have mature skin, a tendency towards redness and discoloration, texture on my cheeks around my nose, and sensitive skin. I get occasional outbreaks. I tend toward products with benzoyl peroxide and hyaluronic acid. The first thing that drew me to this cleanser is that the first few ingredients aren't alcohol, which I have been told you want to steer clear of. This does have a laundry list of ingredients, however, that I will take the time to research when I have it. This cleanser didn't automatically burn my skin when I started using it. You only need one pump for full face coverage and lather. When I first started using it, I would dispense three pumps of product, because that's how much I needed of my other cleaners to get a lather. But not this. I have been using this daily since I got it back in September, and I still have a good portion of the bottle left. I don't know if it's benefitting my skin, but I definitely see less redness and less texture, which, at this stage, is usually all I want out of a cleanser. I will finish out the bottle and see how I feel about it then.
