Came all wrapped in one piece. Would buy from again! Quality is superb. Just what I wanted.Lovely sturdy bench. It's a mix of black and brown wood which I didn't notice in the image before purchasing. But that goes well with my dining room decor. I store 2 large toy bins underneath when not using it as a bench. It came fully assembled and was packaged well. I'm happy with this purchase.Its a nice looking stool, but you have to be careful when sitting on it. It tends to tip backwards
