We purchased the D-Tiger option hall tree because of the darker two-tone finish, and overall, it looks pretty good. Bear in mind, this is not real wood, it's the typical type of synthetic veneer over particle board/MDF that is typical of these products. That said, it gives a nice overall 'wood look' and you have to get up close to examine it and touch it to realize it's not actual wood. Also bear in mind that this is NOT a tall coat rack, it's more of a medium height (check the measurements!!). It can hang medium length jackets ONLY, so if you want it for actual coats, this is not the one. The upper cubbies are small scale, I was hoping they would hold purses, but the pics show the scale with typical ball caps. The lower storage area is a good size, you can get several pairs of shoes or small boots in there. Regarding assembly, there are a LOT of parts, it took my husband about 2.5 hours. I helped him with a couple of the final stages, when the upper and lower sections and doors were getting assembled. There is a long instruction booklet, with diagrams ONLY, no wording, but hubby was able to follow it just fine. Overall, we are happy with this hall tree, and it was the ONLY one in this Tiger finish we saw. So A+++ for that.
