I bought this for my wife, who teaches piano lessons. It replaced a standard piano bench. The quality of this is very good.It seemed a little on the weak side when I unpacked and assembled the legs. But it is used for hours each day, and we have had it for almost 2 years. Still going strong, looks great, and has survived hundreds of kids and their lessons. I'd recommend it highly. The wood is beautifully finished. The cover still looks great. The height adjusts easily. It's not very wide, but I knew that from the specs before I bought it. Not a two person bench, but that was preferable in our case. This is a decent piano bench that looks great. For fit and finish initially I wanted to give it 4 stars, but given that it has done so well with hundreds of lessons in the time we have it, I have to give it 5 stars.
