I bought this piece to go in my bedroom at the foot of my bed. We measured the dimensions posted online and determined that it would be a good fit. We have a very large king bed frame with foot board. When the package arrived it was completely sealed no damage. The interior packing quality was great as well, definitely helped the leather stay unblemished. My only gripe is that the piece looks tiny in front of such a large bed frame. So far, I have managed to put three coverlets inside as well as two king sheets sets. I do not believe that this is ideal storage for a king comforter. Even after vacuum sealing the comforter it still would barely fit and took up most of the interior storage space.The product for its price is great quality. The construction is solid the soft shut door is awesome and the wooden interior is handsome. You're not getting top grain letter but it is definitely good leather. Functionally, it's perfect. It's a great place to put your shoes on and to store smaller linens. I highly recommend this product to people on a budget that want a little bit of style and storage in any part of their home. Personally, I think it would make a great coffee table in a small space.Love it, sturdy, ample storage space, comfortable, nice piece of furniture.I was looking for a bench to put at the end of our bed to hold sheets and blankets. My primary interests were that it needed to hold at least 4 queen sized sheet sets and look nice. My husband and I recently began careers and can finally afford to replace some of our grad school apartment furniture with nicer things. So if I was going to spend the money on this bench, I wanted it to be something that would fit with our new classier furnishings. This bench was more expensive than a couple of other options but got better reviews, so I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. It is lovely! The hinges are slow-close hinges, so no chance of smashing my fingers --- or the very helpful kitty's paws. It is large enough to hold 4 sets of queen sized sheets, a spare pillow, a spare blanket, AND a quilt. I tossed some cedar balls in just to keep things from getting musty. It serves the purpose I bought it for, it looks very nice, and my husband was pleased with the price.I would recommend this bench.This ottoman is a nice addition to our living room. I think it gives a classic look & we kept using the table we used previously as a footrest which drove me nuts. The leather does not look cheap, the seams are sharp & I like that there a no buttons as some other ottomans I was considering had issues with buttons falling off. The storage area fits a couple pillows and several blankets. Overall we are very pleased with our purchase. If I had to say anything negative it's only that I wish it were a bit larger but I knew the dimensions when I bought it & others on Amazon were very similar if not exact in size.I had an old steamer trunk that had belonged to my great-grandfather, but my niece wanted it - so I needed somewhere to store a bunch of "memory" stuff. I thought it might also be nice to have something to prop my feet on when I'm seated on the couch, and this seemed like a good option.It's great! I know it's bonded leather, but it's beautiful and sturdy. As other reviewers have stated, it also has nice slow-close hinges so no worries about the fingers from a slammed lid. I think this is great value for the price. I looked at several storage benches, but this one far surpassed what I saw with similar products (including a shorter version in a cheap burlap type fabric at Target). I am very pleased with this product. It's perfect with our sofa, and it holds all my photo albums, photo boxes, and childhood memorabilia.My wife and I were looking for a storage/sitting bench for the foot of our bed and this is exactly what we wanted. The grey color is perfect for our room and it's sturdy enough to sit on while putting on your shoes. Assembly couldn't be easier, take it out of the box!!! It came fully assembled, packed very well and shipped quickly. The hinge is sturdy so I don't envision the top coming off any time soon. The price was one of the best things, compared to other units we'd seen locally it was a bargain and it came directly to our home, I know I all ready said that, but that's a big deal to me. We have a small car and it can be hard to get larger purchases home because nobody seems to offer free delivery any more. Oh well, that's why we love Amazon so much!!!I love this. It hold my duvets and extra winter blankets. Looks nice. Has held up well for the last 2 years, matches the cloth headboard on my king size bed. My only complaint is that I wish the cloth was of better quality. It seems to have loosened up a bit on top, and a little pilling on the fabric itself. Otherwise, great value and storage.Shipping: All that one could hope for! It arrived on time and without a blemish. It was packed with obvious care - even in a bag to keep the leather from scratches.The Bench: This is a beautiful, sturdy piece of furniture; the picture does it justice. With it's large storage capacity, I now have more room in the dresser and closet shelves. The padded lid makes it a great place to sit while putting on socks and shoes without having to go to another room (the bed is too high). I was a bit concerned about other reviews saying the hardware for the lid was shoddy, but so far I've found it to be just fine. There's a slight resistance on opening and closing, which keeps it from slamming and nothing is exposed or loose. I have zero complaints about this product!Edit after 8 years: Still loving it! No discernible wear, hinges still work fine. This was an excellent buy.
