I bought this as part of a special bundle GC did with a Yamaha P105 keyboard. (I opted to pay the difference for this bench rather than the included one, which was inferior quality.)First, the pros: Holy CRAP this thing is well-built. It's heavy, solid, and will definitely hold a lot of weight. This is good, as I'm not a small guy. Even the cushion is solidly built. Some might find the cushion a little uncomfortable, but I like it firm like this. The faux leather doesn't feel quite like leather, but it's a lot nicer than most "pleather" out there. Now the cons: This bench has sharp corners. Did I mention it was heavy and solid? Yeah, they aren't kidding that it's over 20 pounds, and that isn't so great when you bash your knees on the sharp corner and it's so heavy that it just stays in place instead of allowing physics to absorb some of the shock. I love how the weight feels. I just have to be more careful when I walk near it. Still, they really could have rounded those corners a little bit more - they're sharper than the edges of the frame, and it SUCKS when you bash your shins/knees on it. You've been warned.I also found that there were some scratches on some parts of the finish. However, I believe this was due to the box being allowed to be mishandled at some point during shipping and had a few holes in it. Due to the 20+ pound weight, it doesn't surprise me that one or two of the legs got scratched once the box was compromised. Fortunately, this did not impact the usability of the bench, and the marks were located in spots not visible once it was assembled, so I didn't worry about it.
