A weak K309 to start, the rest of the cycle is strong. A bit leisurely in tempo, but also uncommonly powerful in forte passages, it is just fun to listen to. It is not really worth its steep asking price, and the audiophile sound is nothing special, and certainly not the best available. Silverman's playing is the reason to consider the set.
