This is a great CD. The Domus ensemble does a great job with Brahms piano quartet but the Mahler piece is even better. One of Mahler's first pieces was not performed until the 1960's. The connection between Brahms and Mahler is more than obvious but is a good addition to any Mahler collection. As always the Virgin sound is great with lots of depth
