I am 27 years old and have struggled with acne since a teenager. I've never had a severe case with cystic acne but definitely hormonal acne that would flare up with a bunch of pimples on my cheeks and jawline mainly. I have been on benzoyl peroxide, clindamycin, and differin for 8 years and it seemed like I built up up resistance to that. I do get some breakouts but they aren't as nasty as they used to be and go away faster. The light has also helped fade some scarring. It takes time to see results. Don't get discouraged. It took me about 3 weeks to notice a change and by 6 weeks, I was pretty happy with the results. Skin might get a little worse at first as it goes through a purge phase but stick to it. So happy I invested in this. It is pricey but it is an investment to add into my daily routine that takes me 18 minutes to do my face (one on my chin, one on my forehead, and two spots on each cheek). I thought this was a better option than accutane.
